JFD have become the first practice to specify the use of recycled rubber cladding tiles. The project is the first application of the recycled tiles in the UK. Located in London, the contemporary single storey extension proposes a mix of timber cladding and aluminium pressings alongside the up-cycled tiles.
PrettyPlastic© is a cladding material that gives discarded building products a second life. Made of old window frames, downspouts, and rain gutters, PrettyPlastic© shows that waste can become beautiful. PrettyPlastic® is made out of 100% up-cycled plastic collected from waste from the building sector.
The project will be commencing on site in March 2021.
